A group of progressive thinkers and writers on Thursday took part in an interaction here to discuss the controversy surrounding the government\u2019s decision to close down a government school on N.S. Road here and hand over its land to Sri Ramakrishna Math and Mission for building Vivekananda Memorial. The interaction was organised by Kannada Kriya Samithi, Mysore. The participants said they were not opposing the memorial but questioning the need to shut down a Kannada school for the memorial.<\/p>\n
