A group of progressive thinkers and writers on Thursday took part in an interaction here to discuss the controversy surrounding the government’s decision to close down a government school on N.S. Road here and hand over its land to Sri Ramakrishna Math and Mission for building Vivekananda Memorial. The interaction was organised by Kannada Kriya Samithi, Mysore. Kannada begins at CIIL Mysuru : A 10-day workshop on Classical Kannada organised jointly by the Centre of Excellence for Studies in Classical Kannada (CESCK) and Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) at CIIL premises began in city this morning.
